Teaching Healthy Lifestyles & Building Self-Esteem in our Kids
Thank you for visiting my PE Web site! This is where you can see what we're doing in PE each month. If you have any questions, please feel free to send me an e-mail or give me a call at school. This site should prove to be a valuable resource to you as this is where you'll see what activities your child is involved in. I also send home a monthly newsletter to help keep everyone informed. Between my monthly newsletter and this web site, I'll try to keep you as updated as I can in regards to what we're doing in PE. I hope you had a Great Summer, I'll see you soon!

Throughout the year, we will be using our pedometers and tracking our steps through activities. There are a couple of "Fun Walks" and the Bridge the Gap Walk which is approaching fast - Both are open to us throughout the year.
We were fortunate to get 2 new D.D.R.'s a few years ago, and they've really been a Highlight for the students! D.D.R. is short for Dance, Dance, Revolution. It's an interactive dance game where you try to imitate the dance steps in rhythm on a video screen. They're a lot of Fun and Great Exercise!!!
I'm fortunate to be a part of such a caring staff and PTA that encourages the success of all children. Thank you for making Monroe such a special place for children. Feel free to contact me @ 223-8871 or via e-mail if you have any questions. Thanks again for visiting my new web site. If you have a minute, please sign my guest book, be a good listener at home, and Remember to Stay Fit!
