Just to let you know more about me:
Thanks for visiting Madison’s Physical Education website. My name is Mr. Huneke, and I’m the P.E. teacher at Madison Elementary. I was born in Hastings, Minnesota, where I graduated high school. My favorite sports growing up were: baseball, soccer, hockey and tennis.
I went to college at St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, MN where I played college tennis and graduated in December 2000. I taught in St. Charles and Lake Forest, IL before teaching at Baldwin, and then moving to my current position at Madison. I live in Quincy with my wife, who is a teacher at Baldwin Intermediate School. In my free time I enjoy coaching tennis at Quincy High School and am a hockey referee and travel to St. Louis to officiate various levels of hockey. I look forward to meeting many of you. Thanks again for visiting my PE Web Site!
Keep referring back to this site, as it'll continue to grow; and should act as a resource for you. Weekly activities and events will also be posted. Thanks again for visiting my PE web site.
